Sten Johnson will set up a non-woven factory in Waco, Texas

Asten Johnson, a global textile manufacturer headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina, dates back to 1790 and has selected Waco, Texas, as its eighth location in North America. It is reported that the company will invest $40 million in the next two years to build the 220000 square foot facility.

Sten Johnson is optimistic about the future

The plant will focus on the development of non-woven fabrics in the market, including automobile lightweight and composite manufacturing. Asten Johnson decided to settle in Grand Waco, representing the regional economic development cooperation between Waco, mcclennan county and Waco industry foundation. Waco and McLennan county have worked together strategically to provide incentives to support the project. In addition, the Waco industry foundation cooperates with the project on the land needed to maintain the operation of Asten Johnson.
