Common Problems and Countermeasures of Frontal Tape Machine

At present, the frontal tape has been widely used in the field of sanitary products. This paper puts forward some countermeasures for the common problems in the actual production process of magic tape machine.



1.Frontal tape material position offset and fold phenomenon

(1) Frontal tape position offset

The main reasons are the incorrect position of the locating ring of the material storage shaft and the incorrect position of the material on the machine.


1.Use the storage shaft locating ring correctly. The distance from the trigger to the center of the material is 300mm.

2.During material installation, the winding must be close to the inner locating ring, and then the outer ring shall be clamped and the outer winding shall be fixed.

3.Use the top of the storage shaft to manually adjust the left and right unwinding positions of the material.

(2) Frontal tape material fold

As the material is too loose in the winding process, the material is in a loose state when being rolled out. Therefore, when passing through the unwinding driving shaft, the material is unevenly fed, resulting in material wrinkles.


1.When materials are put into the machine, ensure that the locating rings of the inner and outer rings of the storage shaft are clamped tightly.

2.Adjust the unwinding and adjusting ring to appropriately increase the friction when the storage shaft rotates, so that the material can reach a certain tension after being uncoiled.


2.Abnormal gluing on frontal tape

That is, drop like yellow glue appeared.

Main cause:

1.The glue gun temperature is too high; 2. The angle of the glue gun is incorrect; 3. There is foreign matter in the gun lip; 4. Material unwinding is unstable.


1.Set the frontal tape scraping gun temperature from the glue machine operation interface to about 125 ℃ -135 ℃.

2.Adjust the glue application angle of the scraping gun on the basis of the material. The gun body is perpendicular to the installation of the material. The gun body can also be inclined about 10 degrees to the opposite direction of the material feeding.

3.When there is foreign matter in the gun lip, stop the operation. Aim the air gun at the gun lip, and use the air pressure of about 0.1mp from inside to outside to treat the glue scale or sundries. (Pay attention to clean the gun lip and body with paraffin during daily maintenance)

4.Check whether the material is in close contact with the main shaft of the winding shaft, and increase the friction between the material and the unwinding shaft and the suction belt, so as to realize the synchronous state of material unwinding. Increasing the friction between the material and the reeling shaft can change the connection area between the material and the reeling shaft. Increasing the friction between the material and the suction belt can directly adjust the negative pressure of the adsorption tank and increase the adsorption force.

3.The frontal tape is missed, broken and not firmly adhered

(1) Frontal tape is missed and broken after slitting

Main cause:

1.Due to mechanical fatigue, the slitting blade appears "white mouth", which directly leads to continuous or incomplete material cutting; 2. The air suction of slitting transfer is too small.


1.Manually polish the knife edge with sandpaper to remove the burrs on the knife edge. 2. Moderately increase the slitting pressure. 3. Check the position of the air distribution plate, check whether the air distribution plate and the air suction pipe are blocked, resulting in too small transfer air suction.

(2) Weak adhesion

The main reasons are as follows: 1 insufficient sizing; 2. Insufficient transfer pressure.


1.Check whether the pump speed of the glue machine is normal, whether the glue output of the glue gun is normal, and whether there is any foreign matter on the gun lip.

2.Adjust whether the position of the adhesive jacking rod of the frontal tape after slitting is appropriate, and increase the pressure of the adhesive jacking rod.


4.Frontal tape pasting position offset

Main cause:

1.Incorrect pasting phase; 2. The bottom film unwinding and conveying is unstable.


1.Adjust the phase and adjust the pasting position to the standard position of the product. If there is still position offset in the phase adjustment, check whether the rear rotating differential box, differential motor, synchronous wheel and synchronous belt of the rear frontal tape mechanism can work normally.

2.If the bottom film unwinding and conveying is unstable, check whether the bottom film unwinding system and tension mechanism work normally. If the unwinding system is in normal state and still unstable, the friction between the bottom film and the bottom film material conveying driving shaft can be increased to ensure the unwinding stability of the bottom film material.
