PP non woven is a non-toxic and tasteless milky white high crystalline polymer, which is one of the lightest varieties of all plastics at present. It is especially stable to water. When in water, the 14 hour water absorption is only 0.01%. The molecular weight is about 80000-150000, with good formability. However, due to the high shrinkage rate, the original wall product is easy to sag, but the product has good surface gloss and convenient coloring.
PP non woven has the characteristics of high crystallinity and regular structure, so it has excellent mechanical properties. Its strength, hardness and elasticity are higher than that of high-density PE (HDPE). Its outstanding feature is bending fatigue resistance, (7 × 10^7) there is no damage trace in the folding and bending of the secondary switch. The dry friction coefficient is similar to that of nylon, but it is not better than nylon under oil lubrication.
PP non woven has good heat resistance, the melting point is 164~170 ℃, and the product can be sterilized above 100 ℃. If it is not affected by external force, it will not deform even at 150 ℃. Its embrittlement temperature is -35 ℃, when it is lower than -35 ℃, embrittlement will occur, and its heat resistance is lower than that of PE.
PP non woven has good chemical stability. Except for acid attack, it is relatively stable to other chemical reagents, but low molecular aliphatic hydrocarbons and aromatics can soften and expand it. The chemical stability increases with the increase of crystallinity. Therefore, it is suitable for manufacturing chemical pipelines and fittings in Russia and China, with good anti-corrosion effect.
PP non woven fabric has excellent high-frequency insulation performance. Because it hardly absorbs water, the insulation performance is not affected by humidity, and the dielectric coefficient is high. With the increase of temperature, it can be used to manufacture heating electrical insulation products. The breakdown voltage is also very high. It is suitable for electrical accessories. Good resistance to voltage and arc, but high degree of static electricity, easy to aging in contact with copper.
